Lobster Johnson.
Possibly my favorite of the minor Hellboy characters, and the perfect doodle to get back into the swing of things after more than four days of hurricane-enforced non-drawing.
love looking at the process. And in this case it reveals something i wouldn't have thought. i like the pencils better than the inks. i think some of the excitement and motion of the linework got lost when it got filled in with ink. Not to say that the ink isn't good, i just like the pencils better.
Freelancer (DC/IDW/Marvel/Nike). Artist, "Masks and Mobsters", from Monkeybrain Comics. Atheist. Cunning as a fox who's just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University. My words are my own.
"Michael Henderson has caught my imagination. There's a drama there that is compelling. His linework is economical and sharp yet one sees all the curves. There's magic in that!"
