In an attempt to be eco-friendly, I was using up a stack of old bristol boards and tried, rather foolishly, to slap some inkwash on one I hadn't tested. Turns out this wasn't the right finish for an inkwash piece and it muddied up like no one's business. Still, I'm a bit too hard headed not to have finished, so I stuck it out. I've been toying with a bit more was than usual to keep my regular linework loose and fresh and so far it seems to be working.
Also, Simon Pegg was unexpectedly difficult to draw. I hope he'd be satisfied with the depiction.
