Blogsketch: The TICK!

Was remembering how much I missed The Tick, created by Ben Edlund. Not that there aren't comics, but he sort of disappeared out of the collective consciousness. Anyway, always been a quirky favorite of mine and I decided to play. So there it is.

Alternate Hexen Hammers Cover

Second (more correctly, this one was done first) crack at a cover for the upcoming Hexen Hammers, mentioned in my previous post, from Arcana Studios. This one colored by former Kubert School alum Tom Bonvillain.

Hexen Hammers Cover

Just wrapped the cover of the upcoming Hexen Hammers graphic novel from Ben Fisher and myself, published by Arcana Comics (dates to follow). Cover colored brilliantly by former roommate, all around nice guy and general pain in the ass, Adam Guzowski.

Hexen Hammers Cover Process

Cover for the upcoming Hexen Hammers graphic novel by the illustrious Ben Fisher and myself, published by Arcana Studios. My pencils (as tight as you'll ever see them), inks and inkwash stages. I usually steer clear of scanning each stage, but wanted to try something a bit different. Thankfully, it didn't screw up my flow as much as it has in the past. Still some credits and a title card to lay in, but I'm waiting on the colors before I really decide what I want to do with it. More updates to come!

Bat-Pages
